Build Orphanage in Kenya, Africa

ASK Ministries will be funding part of cost to build an orphanage named "Nyabiosi Compassion Orphanage Home, Elderly and HIV-infected Persons Home". The orphanage will be located in Kenya, Kisii County, South Mugirango Sub county, Gucha South District, Moticho Division, Nyansakia location in Nyataro sub location.  ASK Ministries is initially responsible for funding the kitchen construction.

The orphanage will house these 3 groups: orphans (children), needy elderly people and HIV-infected people.  The problems of these groups of people are not properly addressed by the national government, and there are many of them found in this area.  The orphanage plans to provide care, support and protection for up to 40 orphans, 35 elderly, and 25 HIV-infected.  They will have care givers, security and trained doctors.  They will have indoor and outdoor recreation and play facilities, and training in craft and hobbies.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

 To provide orphans  a childhood that they have ever experienced and help them to become a useful members of the society in future.

 To encourage orphans  to handle their potential by providing creative opportunities to them.

 To make available a secure place where orphans  can play and enjoy their childhood.

 To provide basic education to orphans .

 To provide church services to the orphans.

 To provide such welfare services like food,boarding,clothing, shelter ,health and recreation to both orphans,elderly people and HIV infected persons in our project area.

 To provide basic literacy and facilities for those who wish to study further in future.

 To accomplish physical, intellectual and aesthetic development of the child.

 To conduct HIV counselling and testing in our project area so as to identify all HIV infected people.

 To provide identified HIV infected persons with proper counselling,drugs,nutritious meals and support them economically for them to keep on moving with life.

 To provide a home for all elderly neglected people in our project area where they will get medication, food,clothing, shelter and recreational facilities.

 To establish a long term educational and medical support to orphans from play ground or kinder-garden to the university level.

 In the side of the elderly and HIV infected persons who are highly neglected in our project area, are anticipating to build a home where they will come and stay peaceful and taken care of in terms of nutritious meals/food, clothing, medical check ups and shelter for them to become happy once again in life. If by God’s grace we achieve this,we will have solved the problem of elderly and HIV infected people in our project area.
