SIGN UP FOR PRAYER TEAM

Join the ASK prayer team and sign up to attend our weekly prayer Zoom meetings on Mondays at 7pm CST. You can do that by sending an email to Pam (askministriesprayer@gmail.com). In title of email include "ASK PRAY" and include your first and last name and email address in the email body. Pam or another member of our team hosts prayer zoom calls. You can also go to our calendar under the GO link in the top menu, and click on the Monday prayer meetings.

Importance of prayer

Prayer is the most important part of our ministry because we are inviting God into our ministry. Pray radically until you are empty, then the Holy Spirit can fill you. Study the Word of God, pray, show up, and obey. Invite the Holy Spirit to direct your every step. Nothing in this world is sweeter than this.

1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

James 5:16: The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Prayer each day - Be a living sacrifice

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Father I offer all of me to you. All my body, mind, desires, needs, pleasures, pain, marriage, family, job, possessions, plans, schedules, sin. I offer my life to you as a blank check. Take anything you desire, remove things, add things, change things. If you take it all I die. This is my daily sacrifice to you.

Father, today I am on mission for you. I empty my mind of plans and of self. I am nothing, so Your Spirit can fill me. Lead me, carry me, speak for me, love others through me. Let me see people through Your eyes. I will show up and pray, I will wait on You to lead, and I will obey. Thank you Lord for using me.
